Conservation Buffers work…
Economically and Environmentally
The Hawk Creek Watershed Project and its sponsors have identified buffers as an effective way to improve water quality AND help you maintain a productive, profitable and safe farming operation.
Use buffers to protect rivers, streams, ditches and wetlands. Buffers can be used to “square off” your field edges.
Hawk Creek Buffer Incentives have recently been increased from $80/Acre to as much as $150/Acre.
CRP payments have also increased in many areas as well. If you are considering enrolling a buffer or wetland restoration into CRP, we can help!
